Abstract Submission Guideline
The APSP2022 Poster presentation will be held hybrid platform via web streaming and on-site. The information of poster format will be emailed after the acceptance of the poster abstract.
Presenting author will be responsible for the entire contents of the abstract and must ensure that all the authors are aware of these contents before submission.
Presenting author is required to register the congress in order to have the abstract finally accepted.
All submitted abstracts will be evaluated by Academic Committee of 14th APSP Meeting for the competition candidates, and selected presenting author should present at the designated day.
Categories for poster presentation: Basic research, Clinical research related with periodontology and implant dentistry can be accepted.
Build the abstract into a single paragraph, with no indentation and no blank line between paragraphs.
Figures, graphs, images, tables, diagrams and references must not be included.
Abstracts should clearly state (proportionate):
Background and objectives: The rationale or hypothesis followed by objectives.
Methodology: Briefly discuss the design of the study/ program and how it was conducted.
Results and discussion: Present the main results/ data analysis and pertinent discussion.
Conclusions: Limit the conclusions to those that are directly supported by the results.
Keywords: Provide three to five key words relevant to the study.
Title should be concise and informative.
Authors:
Name(s): Please fill in the names of all authors (First and Last names)
Corresponding author: Must have an underscore (_)
Affiliations: Department, institution/university, city, state if relevant, country, and email address must be provided.
Nomenclature and Units:
Use the international system of units (SI). If other units are mentioned, please give their equivalent in SI.
Math Formulae:
Present simple formulae in the line of normal text where possible. In principle, variables are to be presented in italics. Subscripts and superscripts should be clear. Give the meaning of all symbols immediately after the equation in which they are first used.
Levels of statistical significance which can be mentioned without further explanation are: *p <0.05, **p <0.01 and ***p <0.001
Method of Submission:
You must upload the abstract to the system using the portal provided in the system. It would take approximately 2 to 4 weeks for reviewing process by the committees. The poster could be formulate after the acceptance of the abstract.
For On-site presenters
After the abstract has been accepted, presenters will receive an acceptance email with information on how to formulate the posters. The presenters will require to submit their posters via web portal by August 15th, 2022.
During the APSP conference (August 29-30th, 2022), all presenters are strongly required to be in front of their poster during the assigned date and time to discuss and answer questions from the poster committee.
For Online presenters
After the abstract has been accepted, presenters will receive an acceptance email with information on how to formulate the posters. The presenters will require to submit their posters via web portal by July 31st, 2022.
The poster committee will review all online posters then select five finalists from each category (basic or clinical research). All finalists will be notified by email to prepare a Q&A session during the APSP2022 conference.
- During the APSP conference (August 30th, 2022 from 12 – 13.30), all finalists are required to be in the Zoom meeting (link will be sent later) to participate in a 5-minute Q&A session with the committee.
